01
Business backup generators that respond automatically
A properly designed standby-power system monitors the incoming mains supply. When a failure is detected, the generator starts and an automatic transfer switch moves the essential electrical load onto generator power. When stable utility power returns, the system transfers back and completes a controlled cool-down.
02
Standby power for commercial and critical sites
Backup diesel generators are used where an interruption could stop production, damage stock, interrupt communications or compromise safety. Typical applications include offices, workshops, farms, hospitality, healthcare support services, telecommunications and industrial facilities.
- Whole-site or essential-load backup
- Silent and weatherproof generator enclosures
- Automatic and manual transfer arrangements
- Extended-run fuel systems and project accessories
03
Specify standby capacity against the real load
The standby kVA rating is only one part of the design. The proposal should also consider the largest motor start, permitted voltage dip, load steps, power factor, phase arrangement, fuel autonomy, site access, ventilation and the equipment that must remain powered during an outage.
